Following a friend’s suggestion I agreed to meet with Scott and his colleague Ian Busher. Scott came well-prepared, sharing a vast amount of historical data, but aided by his business and accounting background he walked me through the numbers in a relatable way. Scott and Ian laid out a clear path forward as to how to best prepare, market, and sell my house, carefully considering why and where I needed to spend money on upgrades and where I did not and most importantly how each would pay off.
We shook hands, and Scott and Ian stepped up – providing a clear work back plan as to who would do what when, and they coordinated everything with my contractor. They both rolled up their sleeves to get every last nook of our property looking its best. (Scott bought a power washer just to brighten the basement entrance, and my neighbour even reported seeing him picking up the winter’s dog poop in my backyard – talk about above and beyond!)
Thanks to Scott’s historical research, media relationships, and tireless work ethic, my home became a Globe and Mail Home of the Week that garnered eight offers and sold for 25% over the asking price. Selling my house of thirty years was a very difficult decision but Scott’s confidence, rigor, and honesty throughout made it seamless.

He went above and beyond throughout the selection process to find insights about the status of condo corporations, local sales trends and other considerations that we would not have been able to uncover and properly consider otherwise.

"I was referred to Scott by a mutual friend who is also a former client of Scott's. I was a first time buyer and it was my first attempt to get into the real estate market. I had been a renter for 15 years. I was really impressed with Scott's approach from our first meeting and my opinion didn't change during the several months it took for me to find a place.
